Yara-Yvon Bertassi
Each piece is characterized by clean lines and artistic expressiveness. Trained at the Hetzendorf Fashion School in Vienna and the Accademia del Lusso in Milan, she combines artisanal precision with a clear, architectural design language. For many years, she has been developing independent collections and unique pieces, focusing on cut, materiality, and proportion. Her works reflect a deep artistic sensibility – among other things, in collaborations with her mother, the artist Patrizia Bertassi, in the field of print and textile motifs. Her collections have been presented in art and fashion exhibitions, interdisciplinary projects, as well as selected pop-ups and trade fairs at home and abroad.
In parallel, Yara-Yvon Bertassi works in the family business Leuchtenwerkstatt Jakob Uhl, where she produces high-quality fabric lampshades for private and architectural projects. In close cooperation with selected Austrian craft businesses, pieces are created that combine modern design with traditional craftsmanship and give every room an unmistakable ambiance.
Yara-Yvon Bertassi stands for a design philosophy that harmoniously combines clear forms and artistic expressiveness – each of her works is a statement of timelessness and individuality.
